took a leap of faith to see
over treetops, vast blue seas
went nowhere to seek a star
a spark that might once break the mist

i have found a part of me
now can't return nor proceed
letting seasons pass me by
for reasons that should not exist

i have found a flower in bloom
a bird that cannot spread its wings
haunted by the summer storms
for reasons truly lost, unknown

i may have found destiny
through blur that does not let me mourn
losing faith in caring for
the seeds deep underground i've sown
