looks deceive, your
mind obscure with fog,
regardless, it rains
a bit of happiness today.
gather around, grab
a bucket
a glass
a spoon
-- oh, no matter!
open your mouth wide
point your chin up!
let yourself feel alive
dancing in the rain --
or collecting crystals 
of the morning dew
until the sun
commands the fog
to rise, oh rise again.
yet the soul
now all unmasked
stays afloat a tiny
strawberry leaf
on a broad lake
filled with vivid dreams.
now no thief can
break its back
in the fellowship
of waterlilies.
